There does not seem to be much difference between a standard and executive bedroom, and there is only one meeting room. 


Copthorne Tara Hotel, London Kensington

Outside of the venue there are traditionally dressed concierges, who are waiting to help delegates and guests. Upon entering, you are greeted by a large lobby area with a multitude of different shops, including a gift shop. Due to the fact the venue is in a quieter area, you are able to drive directly to the entrance of the hotel. The meeting rooms are all decorated traditionally and a conscious effort has been made to keep the rooms as authentic as possible, evident in the wooden panels in the Shannon Suite. There are also spaces to cater for larger events. None of the meeting spaces have natural daylight.


Royal Garden Hotel

The venue is easily accessible with valet right at the entrance and an NCP car park directly next door. The lobby is extremely large and airy and there are plenty of staff on hand to help. The bar is on an upper level and overlooks to reception area. The hotel has a variety of different sized meeting rooms, including the Palace Suite, which can hold up to 550 delegates theatre style. The larger meeting rooms (The Palace Suite and the Kensington Suite) can be partitioned to make smaller spaces. In addition to this, the meetings spaces are served by their own private entrance. Only three of the meeting rooms have natural daylight, (the Balmoral, Highgrove and York).  


Kensington Close Hotel

The entrance to Kensington Close Hotel is very grand and leads on to a large reception area with a relaxed bar area with lots of space. There are 12 newly refurbished meeting rooms which can accommodate anything from 2-250 delegates. Many of the larger rooms can be partitioned and are therefore very flexible. The breakout areas are lovely and refreshments can often be served inside of the meeting rooms. There is a lovely garden area, but this only available to use until 8pm, due to the residential surroundings


Holiday Inn London Kensington Forum

The Holiday Inn Kensington Forum is a very large, imposing building in a convenient location, with a less than convenient entrance (you have to walk around the side of the building, past all the loading bays of the hotel). The meeting spaces are contained in “The Academy”, which was fully furbished only a year ago, the Holiday Inn’s dedicated meeting area of the hotel. There are 13 different meeting spaces which are served by self-service refreshment areas and their own dedicated registration desks. The building really is not much to look at from the outside, but this is not reflected in the interior.


Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington 

The lobby of this venue is really impressive, as are the staff who go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The venue is directly connected to its own dedicated conference centre, which has a staggering 25 separate meeting spaces, including the lovely conservatory, which would be perfect for an evening reception or event. All of the bedrooms are the same size, which is convenient for housing multiple delegates. Everything about this venue is impressive. There is an underground car park with 300 spaces.


Millennium Baileys Hotel London Kensington

The Millennium Baileys is a sister property to the Millennium Gloucester, and its history as a Gentlemen’s Club means that it is steeped in character. The hotel has recently undergone a refurbishment, and this shows in all areas of the hotel, especially the bar and restaurant area, which is busy every night of the week. There are no meeting spaces on site, but works well for a place for delegates attending meetings at the Millennium Gloucester to go for a change of scenery.
