Nice provides a vast range of high-quality activities for LGBT tourists from all over the world. It naturally offers everything that these clients are seeking for their holidays: an outstanding resort and climate, a rare historic and cultural heritage, easy access and events throughout the year.
To further improve what is already a broad offer in this segment, the Nice Tourist and Conference Office joined forces with Nice Council and gay and lesbian association partners two years ago to design a standard setting out the rules for reception quality. Establishments that undertake to comply with the standard can thus obtain the “Nice, irisée naturellement” [Nice, naturally iridescent] label. Nice is the first city in France to have been awarded the international “Gay Comfort” label and now has over sixty labelled establishments committed to offering its gay clients the best possible reception.
