Lisbon Hotels Score Highly

Hotel Ritz Four Seasons and Olissippo Lapa Palace in Lisbon feature in the ranking of the Top 100 Hotels of the World, of the Readers’ Choice Awards, sponsored by Condé Nast Traveler.

In the ranking of the 15 best hotels in the Iberian Peninsula, the five-star Ritz Four Seasons ranks in first place. Located in the city centre, about 15 minutes’ walk from the Baixa downtown district, the Ritz Four Seasons Hotel in Lisbon has 15 meeting rooms and 283 bedrooms, including 20 suites. All rooms feature balconies overlooking the Eduardo VII Park, São Jorge Castle and the Tagus river. The Hotel also has several public areas, a shopping arcade, the Varanda Restaurant and the Ritz Bar with live piano music on weekends.

The Olissippo Lapa Palace is another hotel in Lisbon to feature in the top rankings.  The hotel is built in a 19th century palace, is situated on the top of one of Lisbon’s seven hills overlooking the Tagus River.  With 7 meeting rooms, 109 bedrooms, restaurants, bar and spa, the hotel is surrounded by a majestic subtropical garden.
