The Meliá Vienna opened on the 26th February 2014, in the Danube City (DC) Tower, making the property the highest hotel in Europe.
Designed by Parisian architect Dominique Perrault, the tower is 250 metres tall, and is currently Austria’s highest skyscraper. Behind the spectacular glass facade, guests will find calm, subdued colors, fine materials and a purist ambience. Across 15 floors the hotel boasts 253 exquisite bedrooms (including 40 suites and a 200 sqm Presidential Suite with 180 degree panoramic views). All are equipped with the latest technical equipment. Guests can enjoy a spectacular 360-degree view from the top of the tower and culinary delights in the “57 Restaurant & Lounge,” which occupies the top two floors of the DC Tower.
