Hensol Castle reopens as conference venue

As part of the Vale Resort, the Hall is in the same grounds as the four star hotel which includes 143 bedrooms, 2 championship golf courses, Wales largest spa and their award winning dinning sporting facilities.

The stunning Hensol Castle, located within the grounds of the Vale Resort, has just completed a £10 million revamp, the first phase of which introduces conference facilities in the new purpose-built Courtyard Hall. The Courtyard Hall is capable of hosting 320 delegate’s theatre-style and 200 delegates banquet-style. The facilities at Courtyard Hall will be complemented by five smaller meeting rooms in the castle itself that can host between 10-100 delegates per room theatre-style. The Courtyard Hall has been designed to be energy efficient with heat-retaining and heat-reflective glass, low energy lighting and a natural grass and wildflower roof.

The 400 year old  17th-century castle has original architecture, turrets, gothic towers and feature staircases, and its restoration is being completed in close association with the Vale of Glamorgan Council and CADW, the Welsh Government’s body responsible for preserving Welsh heritage. The former stately home is situated six miles outside of Cardiff city centre and three minutes off junction 34 of the M4, and is set within landscaped gardens with a 15-acre lake and serpentine pond. Hensol Castle can be hired exclusively which means you can conduct your meeting or event in complete privacy.
