We could not see the conference centre due to the current work, but without seeing the finished property I have no doubts it will only add to the hotels arsenal of facilities suitable for any meeting type and event.

However York seems to have pulled off the great combination of protecting its historic values while also catering for the 21st century in all aspects. With many hotels now in the city the Park Inn has taken its meeting space and facilities to 2015 and beyond.  Located on the banks of the river Ouse the location and scenery could not be any better. The hotel boasts many meeting rooms with plenty of daylight and space. They are currently refurbishing the conference centre which is planned to be completed this June.

Trinity’s Paul Barke had the pleasure of attending a fam trip on behalf of Park Inn by Radisson in York at the beginning of May. It must be common knowledge that York is one of the most visually eye pleasing destinations in the UK. Rich in history there is almost endless facts to discover about this gem in the North. Even I, having a keen interest in history was educated on many more facts and events provided by our city tour guide.Fast forward to the modern day and you would think people’s perception of York would be that the city has frozen in time in terms of way of life and architecture (don’t worry this is still abundant in most areas – thankfully).
