Even Hotels is IHG’s brand designed for business and leisure travellers who want to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle whilst they are away.  So far there are four of these hotels in America with two more in the pipeline. The locations are Downtown New York; Brooklyn; Norwalk, CT; Rockville, MD and new properties will open in Times Square and midtown Manhattan.  

Fitness

The hotels have an studio for group fitness activities, a gym and also workout space in the bedroom with cork flooring and a variety of personal exercise equipment, such as yoga mats.  Staff can also advise on outdoor bike, running and walking routes and swimming pools.

Food

Healthy food is served with simple and natural choices.  Customisable hotel menu items are available with energising stacks and treats.  At the end of the day, the hotel offers complimentary herbal infused tea in the lobby for all guests.

Work

Meetings can encompass fitness, such as exercise and yoga.  The bedrooms are designed with flexible, ergonomic work spaces.  There is free wifi everywhere and plenty of charging points.  In some hotels there is outside terrace work space.

These hotels are not focussed on the meetings and conference market, but are an interesting option for accommodation.
