Earlier this year 19 former Thistle Hotels were added to their portfolio With the majority of the Hotel Collection venues being out of city centre, the newly acquired Thistle hotels have brought a city centre presence.
In November 8 of the group will become Jurys Inns, these will include Hinckley Island and Aberdeen Skyway. Following this move 11 will be moving to the Mercure brand.
As a result the Hotel Collection will have fewer properties with 12 remaining, all of these are to be the traditional properties, quirky and characterful and often out in the countryside.
