The University of Sheffield are delighted to announce the opening of the new £81m Diamond Building as part of the universities portfolio of conference & event facilities within the city.
The Diamond Building provides the university with nine brand new lecture theatres, the largest of which can accommodate 450 delegates; all lecture theatres are furnished with hi-tech presentation facilities & corresponding exhibition space in addition to varied catering provisions ranging from light refreshments, buffet lunches to more formal dining.

The Diamond Building is the latest ‘gem’ in the University of Sheffield’s portfolio which already includes the boutique ‘Halifax Hall Hotel’ (www.halifaxhall.co.uk ), Inox Dine, the conference, event & contemporary dining experience (www.inoxdine.co.uk ) in the city & The Edge and The Ridge, the two purpose built conference facilities at Endcliffe.
With facilities across the university ranging from small meetings to those incorporating 1,250 delegates to fine dining (the university has three Master Chefs of the UK) & flexible exhibition and catering provision, the University of Sheffield is very much at the contemporary & modern end of 21st century meetings & events.
