£7m has recently been spent on the 1830s property, which is set in 30 acres near Chesham. The hotel now has a 1838 restaurant and bar with an open kitchen. It has also introduced the first Burr & Co. coffee shop in the De Vere group.
An additional 31 bedrooms have been created in the mansion from meeting rooms and offices. This means that there are now four meeting spaces in the main house, the largest of which is the Cavendish Suite which holds 240 people in theatre-style. There are also l 28 meeting rooms in the Cormorant and Mews buildings, next to the mansion house.
