Four Seasons Plans First Hotel In Greece

Located in the seaside suburb of Vouliagmeni, approximately 16 miles south of Athens, the hotel will occupy the existing Astir Palace Resort, which consists of The Arion Hotel & Spa and The Nafsika Hotel, opened in 1967 and 1980, respectively. Currently undergoing a property-wide renovation and refurbishment, the redeveloped property will include approximately 300 rooms, suites, and luxury bungalows; a spa and recreational facilities; state-of-the-art meeting and event space; infinity pools and beaches; and a beachfront promenade.

To civilization at large, Greece is one of the oldest destinations on Earth. To Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, however, it’s the newest: The luxury hotelier announced plans today to open its first Four Seasons Hotel there — Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens — in spring 2018.
