Three brothers decided to build New Road Hotel on the site of an old textile factory, formerly known as Service House, where their father once worked. Since its closure in 2000, the building has remained empty, until 2011 when building work started to convert it into a hotel.
With exposed brickwork, open lobby spaces flooded with light, and views of London’s skyline, New Road Hotel will be a London hotel with a difference. The focus will be on sleek and efficient design, five-star service, and will have a restaurant by chef Marco Pierre White.
There are two meeting rooms, with industrial styling or if you want to take the meeting outside, there is also a terrace and rooftop studio, which can also be used for a drinks reception or party.
The New Road Hotel has 80 bedrooms, a fitness studio and social zones with live music, pool tables and a library.
The nearest underground station is Whitechapel, 5 minutes walk away.
