The Rubens at The Palace hotel, a member of Red Carnation Hotels, is due to add the finishing touches to a hotel-wide renovation.

Overlooking the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace in London, the property has undergone a multi-million-pound refurbishment, and now features two new restaurants, a bar, an English afternoon tea service, plus new guest rooms and suites. All of the 163 rooms, suites and serviced apartments have been refurbished, with more than 80 new marble bathrooms installed, alongside 163 chandeliers.

In May, the final element to the refurbishment, a new incarnation of the Leopard Bar, will open to guests and visitors, serving more than 200 whiskies, 20 Champagnes and over 50 Champagne cocktails.
