A new restaurant is set to launch at 11 Cadogan Gardens hotel in London, on the site of what was Alexis Gauthier’s Tartufo. Hans’ Bar & Grill will be headed up by chef Adam England, who previously worked at Le Pont de la Tour and the restaurant will offer an all-day seasonal menu.
The restaurant on Pavilion Road is part of the 11 Cadogan Gardens hotel whose management was taken over last year by the team behind Chewton Glen in New Milton, Hampshire. The restaurant, set to launch in May, will have 106 seats as well as a 20-seat bar and a private dining room called ‘the Curio’ with capacity for a further 16 people.
Meanwhile, the opening of the Belmond Cadogan, also owned by Cadogan, is set to open later this year after a four-year, £28m refurbishment.
The Queen Anne-style property, built in 1887, has been renovated to provide larger-sized suites in response to demand from guests, the hotel will also feature a new “gourmet dining experience”, with a direct entrance on to Sloane Street and overlooking Cadogan Place Gardens.
