This beautiful historical city in the West Midlands is an area known for its bustling atmosphere. With stunning architecture and deep history, Coventry is a captivating location for global event profs and delegates.
Here are some reasons why.
Coventry is a diverse city with a relatively young population. According to coventry.gov.uk, the city’s median age is 35 years compared to the UK average of 40 years.
What’s more, the city’s population has grown, particularly amongst younger adults, alongside the growth and success of the city’s two universities. The educational settings are attracting students locally and internationally, alongside better-paid jobs in certain sectors of the local economy.
coventry.gov.uk also tells us that the city has become increasingly ethnically diverse in the last decade, with ‘just under half of its school-aged population from an ethnic minority background in 2021; up from around one-third of the city’s population from an ethnic minority background at the 2011 census.’
Coventry, a city in the West Midlands, is rich in history and heritage. In Roman times, Coventry was one of the country’s main medieval market towns, visited by many.

The city has resurrected many of its once-demolished buildings, but the memory remains. Visitors can learn more about Coventry and its heritage at The Herbert Art Gallery and the war memorial park.
