Barcelona has been selected as the Mobile World Capital from 2012 to 2018, beating 30 cities and finalists Milan, Paris and Munich to become the new hub of the worldwide mobile industry. As Mobile World Capital, Barcelona will host year-round activities related to the mobile industry attracting key business players from across the globe and, of course, its cornerstone, the Mobile World Congress.
