As a company that wants to survive this uncertain time, our biggest incentive is to lay off staff. But what the Government is failing to realise is that this decision will impact far more lives and hurt the Government more than providing us with cash to keep going. Unemployment, recession, mental health, and suicide will undoubtedly be the outcome of many individuals that are facing reduced hours or loss of jobs – does the Government want that on their hands?
