Brand New Costa Rica Convention Center Opens Its Doors

Costa Rica’s first convention center large enough for up to 6,571 delegates is now open. With 6 meeting rooms, 5 breakout rooms a board room and an extremely large main hall with plenary session capacity of 4,600. This new venue boasts natural daylight and the latest technology equipment. The convention center is hugely Eco friendly, with the re-use of rainwater, reflective roofs and solar energy water heating systems. 

Costa Rica itself can offer beautiful scenery, stunning coastlines and tropical wildlife. This stunning new venue is within 7 miles of 4,500 hotel rooms 10km from downtown San Jose and 8km from Juan Santamaria international airport. 

The country has climbed from 63rd to 53rd out of 200 countries in the global ranking of meeting tourism compiled by the ICCA.  An up and coming corporate location.
