A new 32,500sqm Expo Centre on the World Market Centre Las Vegas campus is set for construction after the owners of World Market Centre announced a partnership with the city of Las Vegas
The building will provide high tech exhibition and meeting space in the downtown area for corporate and private events, meetings and tradeshows.
It will also be used for the Las Vegas Market furniture, gift and home décor trade events that attract around 100,000 attendees annually.
The Expo Centre is expected to cost approximately $76 million (£56m) of which the city of Las Vegas will contribute $30m (£22m). Construction is set to begin within 18 months and will take about 18 months to complete.
