An Update on Hatfield House
Hatfield House is a stunning, unique and historical country house venue in Hertfordshire. Built by the first Earl of Salisbury in 1611 it is now home to the 7thMarquess and Marchioness of Salisbury and their family. The deer park surrounding the house and the Old Palace, was owned by King Henry VIII, and it was whilst she was living in the Old Palace in 1558 that Elizabeth I learned of her accession to the throne so it truly is a venue with a wealth of history. Nowadays, the Old Palace is used for a host of events from Tudor banquets whilst the Riding School offers the contrast of a more contemporary space for meetings and events.

The Riding School has recently undergone a refurbishment giving a modern and light and airy feel to the venue. The room has a glass roof to flood the space with natural daylight as well as built in AV-equipment.

In the New Year, the venue will also be opening their Lawn House, a 15 bedroomed house set within its own garden with views over Hatfield Park. The House will consist of 1 kings size bedroom, 11 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms and a single bedroom. Guests will have the option of booking the House exclusively or individual bedroom bookings.
