The meetings and events industry has changed dramatically over the last few years. Destinations are no longer judged purely on hotel capacity, conference centres, or...

The Bloomsbury Hotel has doubled the capacity of their outdoor terrace from 40 to 100. The new terrace will have a retractable canopy for all year round use and completion of the renovation is expected to be the end of September. Located in the heart of central London, there are five conference rooms, including George V Hall with capacity for over 300 delegates, Queen Mary Hall, The Chapel and The Library all ideally designed for large events. For smaller events, such as a formal lunch or board meeting, the wood-panelled, book-lined Seamus Heaney Library, or The Chapel can be used. Seven suites with a maximum capacity of 60 delegates theatre style are also available in the dedicated Meetings Centre. There Plasma TVs, LCD projectors and screens throughout and there is a separate entrance and reception desk for delegates.
