• All Okura Hotels is synonymous with its signature Japanese restaurant – Yamazato for fine traditional Japanese cuisine & Sazanka for teppanyaki
• The Yamazato Restaurant at Hotel Okura Amsterdam is the first traditional Japanese restaurant outside Japan that is awarded with a Michelin star
• Hotel Okura Tokyo was built in response to growing expectations in political and business circles for a world-class hotel in Tokyo to symbolise the reconstruction process and prosperity of post-war Japan.
• The main building of Hotel Okura Tokyo is currently undergoing refurbishment – project “This is Okura” is due for completion by Spring 2019, in time for the Tokyo Summer Olympic Games in 2020. The South Wing of Hotel Okura Tokyo is operating as normal and is not disrupted by the “This is Okura” project.
