The Natural History Museum has opened up the newly refurbished Flett Theatre for daytime conferences.
The New theatre is the only event space open during the day at the museum, The purpose-built, auditorium-style theatre can host conferences, talks and training days and features a private foyer for registration and refreshments for delegates. During breaks it offers the opportunity to explore the nearby galleries and check out the exhibits. Audio-visual facilities are available to hire including in-built microphones, an LCD projector, HD cameras, Blu-ray and DVD playback for film screening, wireless and lapel microphones as well as audio playback. It is possible for organisers to expand the event once the museum closes to the public, with private viewings of the exhibitions or a drinks reception and dinner.
