There’s lots going on in London this year and we’ve a round up of some new restaurants coming on to the scene:
La Dame de Pic at Four Seasons Ten Trinity Square (pictured)
The chef is from the only current French female chef with three Michelin stars, Anne-Sophie Pic. The food will be French in a classic English environment. It’s her first restaurant in the UK and is due top open on 26th January.
Hai Cenato an Italian restaurant from Jason Atherton
Due to open in February, this restaurant is located in the NOVA complex located next to Victoria station. The menu will be made up of small plates, pasta and risotto, grills and pizzas made in the restaurant’s own custom-built pizza ovens. The bar will be called the Drunken Oyster.
D&D are opening Aster in Victoria and an Italian in Islington
Aster will open on the 1st February 2017 and is also in the NOVA complex located next to Victoria station. The food will be a mix of Nordic cuisine with the classic French techniques. The 10,000-square foot space will be on two floors comprising a café and deli on the ground floor and an upstairs restaurant and bar.
After 15 years in Islington, D&D London, Almeida (just off Upper Street) has closed and will be relaunched as an Italian restaurant in March 2017
The Game Bird at The Stafford
The Stafford London in St James’s will relaunch its restaurant as The Game Bird. The food will be the best of British cooking, including game, but with modern touches. The chef, James Durrant, has more than 20 years’ experience in Michelin-starred restaurants.
Mexican cuisine at the InterContinental London Park Lane
Chef Martha Ortiz is Chef Patron of Mexico City’s award-winning Dulce Patria, one of Latin America’s most exciting restaurants, with Mexican food and traditions. The restaurant will introduce Mexican design and culture and this is in addition to Theo Randall’s restaurant which is already established.
