Following a visit from the Sales Manager of the Hyatt Regency Birmingham today, we are aware of a few changes going on at the hotel. They have already started refurbishing the standard bedrooms, using a modern, neutral theme and plenty of local artwork, with work on the meeting space due to start after January 2014. All work is scheduled to be complete by May 2014.
They are also now offering a ‘Women’s Experience’ as part of an on-going innovation project, which gives female guests a more extensive list of amenities to either buy, borrow or have complimentary. Items such as hair straighteners, smaller portions on the room service menu and smaller bath robes and slippers are now available to make women feel more welcome in the hotel. This innovation project is an on-going thing and guests are asked questions about their stay to help the hotel improve their offering.
