Two more St Regis hotels are also coming on stream: scheduled for next year is the 136-room St Regis Dubai Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, which will feature a state-of-the-art polo academy with four polo fields, show jumping and dressage arenas, while the following year St Regis Dubai – The Palm (picture featured) will boast the world’s highest infinity pool located on the 50th floor.
Madinat Jumeirah: a new hotel, the Jumeirah al Nasim, the sea breeze, is opening at the end of this year with 430 rooms.
Al Habtoor City is Dubai’s first integrated resort. Situated on the new Dubai Water Canal, it will offer three new hotels, a shopping boulevard and a spectacular water-themed show by Dragone, the first permanent water-based production set in a purpose-built theatre. The St Regis Dubai offers bespoke luxery across 234 rooms while the W Dubai has 356 rooms.
The Langham, Palm Jumeirah, will open at the end of this year, the group’s first Middle Eastern Resort.
Set on the Pearl Jumeirah waterfront, the Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai opens this year offering 117 rooms and suites as well as 15 ultra-deluxe villas.
Dukes is opening its first property outside the UK with 273-room Dukes Oceana Dubai, set on the trunk of The Palm Jumeirah.
