Malmaison Set For Edinburgh

Malmaison is to open a 72-bedroom hotel in Edinburgh’s St Andrew Square in 2018. The grade A listed Buchan House will be renovated before opening next year.

The property will be the brand’s second site in the city, the Malmaison Edinburgh Leith was the first ever Malmaison to open in 1994,  famously occupying the site of a former “house of ill-repute”.

The new hotel is the latest in a series of developments for the brand, which includes plans for sites in Bournemouth and York. All the new developments feature the Chez Mal bar and brasserie and the ‘Work + Play’ meeting and events concept.
